Happy 2017
So by now you’ve already guessed that the site has gone through a bit of an update. I hope you find the new layout more appealing and easier to use.
For those of you who don’t have access to the 2017 enrolment handbook, here’s a quick rundown of the changes in store for pianists this year:
- There’s a new AMEB (NSW) online shop
- FMusA and FSDA will be withdrawn from the syllbus as of 1st January 2018
- New Piano for Leisure Series 4 will be brought out at the end of 2017
- Diploma level examinations (AMusA and LMusA for Musicianship and Theory) can now be undertaken throughout the year with at least 6 weeks notice. Enrolments are accepted between 16th Jan and 23rd Aug with examinations to be undertaken at Clarence Street, Sydney. In the event that the candidate resides more than 125km, they may request their own venue.
New products will also be added to our catalogue with a strong focus on the AMusA Theory of Music – Musicology.
