Description

The highest attainable diploma from the AMEB, the LMusA truly does represent dedication to music (or a serious lack of a social life… we speak from experience).  According to the AMEB website, the LMusA has a pass rate of only 10% ensuring those who attain this honour truly are exceptional.

As there are absolutely no AMEB reference/publications books for this course (to date), we thought we’d share with you our notes.

Some personal hints to help you along the way:

1. Please ensure you have the latest  LMus Musicology Objectives V1.
2. Contact someone who is great at marking harmonic analysis.
3. Read everything you can about your chosen topics and works – online Groves was the base of our knowledge and most libraries can give you access.
